Re: Then and now
Continuing the Then and Now thing, here are 2 shots of Wee Bubba with Blue which are 27 months apart. I've been giggling about the 1st one since I posted it to my new website so I figured I'd share it here too. It shows a little bit of growth. Enjoy

Oh, once she's eating she'll get a *lot* bigger than my boys.
My female Borneo is proportionately much larger than the males already. She's only 4 years old and about the same length as Bubbles, but easily twice (if not a little more) his bulk. She's probably closer to three times his size at the same length. It sounds drastic, but females are just bigger all over.

I like the comparison pics. Great colors on your bloods. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks, Norm. I chose the brongs as hatchlings because I liked their respective patterns, I could tell they'd have great adult colouration (one of which I'm still waiting to see) and because they would look quite a bit different from one another as adults, colour-wise. They're reversing, which is exactly what I hoped would happen - Blue started as a yellowish-orange hatchling and turned almost red, whereas Bubbles started as a reddish hatchling and is turning yellow. I hoped Bubbles would mature into a true yellow adult (quite uncommon now) and he's not disappointing so far, but I've got another couple of years to wait before I see his adult colouration.
The previous owner of the breit chose me, so I didn't have any say in her colours or pattern, but she's a classic Borneo, she has great colouration when you see her in person and she's Canadian-bred from well-known lineage, so I can't complain at all about her. She's a great snake

It's not impossible, but some species are easier than others to do that with. Send me a PM with as many details as you have and I'll let ya know what you can do.

This is amazing! That's a huge difference in the first pic It happens so fast too... I barely remember when my 2yr old ball python was a baby, so I'm taking tons of photos of Pika since he's a baby now to remember it That's amazing though how little Bubba was... tinnyyyy!

Glad to hear it. In 20 years when you look back at your images, you'll be really glad you took so many

Re: Then and now
that growth is really impressive. That first picture is pretty cool, the little one looking at the big one looks like she's thinking "I hope I'm that big one day."
