Nix pam or frontline
I have heard good and bad things about nix.
I have heard good and bad things about pam.
I also heard pam isn't as strong.
I was wonder if frontline works really well and that it is effective and if it is safe.
i have read and watch a lot videos of people using frontline and saying its really good. that its safe to rub it on your snake.
what do you recommend?

Nix without question. Used it with great success. I treat my snakes every time I clean the enclosures as a preventative measure. I go to reptile shows, pet shops and visit friends with reptiles so you never know when a more can be picked up.

Hey Dave... That brings up a question from me if you don't mind... When you treat a snake with it do you leave it on and let it dry or do you rinse them off... I've been rinsing them off to be on the safe side but I wanted to know the proper procedure...

You let it dry. Don't rinse anything off.

Definitely don't rinse it off. That defeats the whole purpose of actually treating the snake.
For the preventive applications, I put my snakes in a holding container and spray them liberally, let it sit while I clean the enclosure, spray down clean enclosure and put the snake back. I replace water bowls the following day.
For treatment of mites you'll want to spray the snake in the same way but also the enclosure, hides and paper towels every 3-4 days. I did this process for 3 months on 1 snake that got shipped in with mites and have been mite free since and not a single other snake on my collection got them as a result.

PAM and Natural Chemistry ( if used correctly) is the one, two punch to eradicate mites. It's a type of synergistic effect.

Still an advocate of predatory mites. They can be used as a precautionary treatment just like the chemicals can and zero risk of getting it wrong and harming the animal and very effective.
In a bio active set up they will actually feed off springtails when no snake mites are present but will not destroy the springtail population giving you 24/7 protection
