Designing the enclosures or room

Hey folks,

Any of you design their enclosures or reptile rooms before actually building them? I do and i like to do it too. I use the free program called Google Sketchup. It's pretty nice and simple once you get the hang of it.

Anyway, i did some 'work' for the new room and here are the results :

If you do this too, plz share your creations. Even if it's with pen and paper or any other program.

Cheers.

Very cool, great work on those. Would love to see your physical reptile room when you make it!
I'm learning 3d modelling so I know how much time and patience working in 3d can take.

Re: Designing the enclosures or room

What material would you use for the one that mounts on a wall?

Part 2 :

The skeleton is made of 'mdf' (idk if that is known in english, but it's kind of pressed wood fibre panels). Over that, there is very bendable plywood and the finish is a plastic panel, covered with fake leather.

Greetz.

Re: Designing the enclosures or room

So what type of material is inside the frame? It looks flexible like balsa wood but thicker. What is that material?? Looks great tho!
Also what material is used for the white lining over the wood to waterproof?

I suppose if I cant find flexible plywood I could just make it square. But looks so much cooler with the curves. Waht did the wall mount unit weigh when finished?
