Hello! Could anyone help me age my snake?

Hello! A couple of weeks ago, I had found a North Western Garter Snake, and since it is cold and rainy here in Oregon, I figured it would be good to take her in and keep her safe and warm. I have grown attached to her, and she is now a pet of mine. Her name is Sasquatch, and she's about 25" long - 63.5 cm. I am not an expert on NW Garter Snakes so I do not know her age. I was hoping someone could help me guess on her age, since the closest vet (that handles snakes) if within driving distance, and I do not have any transportation. Thanks for the reading this post, and have a nice day

It's impossible to tell an exact age without raising it yourself.

I can tell you, it's a mature adult, most likely a female, and most likely pregnant.

99% of all mature female garter snakes captured in the spring are preganant.

^^This
Hope your tank is tight enough to prevent any escapees, if you come home and find a bunch of baby snakes running around!!
I had a friend who caught a garter in march here in NY, and sure enough she had 10-15 babies to release shortly thereafter
