I'm new, too.
Cheers from Portland, OR! I signed up to be able to ask general questions and to see other people's opinions on lighting/caging ideas. I don't know many herp lovers in my area besides from the few pet stores I go to so I thought it would be nice to be able to post stuff on here. So...hello everyone!

As far as pets go I have:
8 year old German shep mix, KOA
2011 hatched normal BP
2009 hatched Ivory BP
14 year old Rose hair
1 year old emporer scorption
& a argentine BW tegu. I got him off backwater reps so i'm unsure how old he is..from his size I'd guess about 2 or 2 1/2.

Yep! Her name is Lilith. She has only shed once in the entire time i've had her. I adopted her from a woman in Albany, or who did an animal rescue from her house. She told me someone gave her to her because they grew bored of her.
She's sweet as can be! I don't understand how anyone could get bored at looking at such a beautiful tarantula.
