a few pics of the ig


i finally am starting to gain some trust with her. i get her to walk onto me with some bright green food


and here she is on my pumpkin


and of course i cant leave this one out. here she is about to whip me lol

awesome looking ig. very bright colours, large crests and dewlap for a female. you sure its a she?

I was told she was by someone who is very knowledgeable with iguanas so im pretty sure its a female.

Do you know how to sex them?

Check for pores on the bottom of her thighs. also the size of the Jowls Also an indicator. Google it thres some really good comparison pics. How old is your Ig?

She does have pores but male and female have them males just stick out more. And shes 2

Also males have two bumps on top of their head that you're doesn't but she still looks young hard to tell.

Nope theres n bumps. I was hoping for a male when i first got her but im ok with a female.

If you do an image google search on Male Iguana sexing you will be able to see some excellent photos of the femoral pores as well as location and bumps of the hemipenes. Once the animal is over a year and a half it should be easy to tell.
Either male or female it's very pretty.
