Hello from Colorful Colorado
I got my first snake while living in Alaska, an everglades rat. When I moved to the lower 48, he followed. This week I am bringing a carpet python home. I've been a lurker for a while now and getting a new species seems like a great time to get to know the community better!
Cheers,
Kari

I'll post some snapshots once I get a hang of forum posting! It is always fun to see everyone's snake pics.

Welcome to the forum My friend got an everglade rat snake for her first snake. His name is Severus and he's turning into quite the beauty. Hows the temperament on yours?

I like the name!
My guy is as docile as they come. 7 years and not a single bite. He's also very inquisitive and unafraid which makes him a little bit of a mischief. Would you say your friend's snake shares a similar attitude or is it quite different?
