Ugly duckling
You know when you just have that feeling bout something...
I knew I kept her for a reason. Even as a dark little ugly duckling there was just something about her... a hunch I had.
3 weeks old
a week ago (11 months old)
My little ugly duckling has bloomed into a swan. I love it when a hunch pays off, she looks like a bushfire....

Re: Ugly duckling
i don't know anything about leopard geckos but I really liked her first picture as well.. I love the dark colors. It kind of reminds me of the sky at night with stars in the back ground. She is stunning now too though!

That's alright mate.. no need to be sorry , they're not exactly a widely kept gecko on your side of the pond.

Re: Ugly duckling
Like Kat, I love the way she looks in both stages. She's gorgeous in her darker clothes, but looks just as fantastic in her brighter ones.

Re: Ugly duckling
Beautiful. The knobtail is interesting. Do they use it for predator distraction in the wild?

They used to kinda be but I guess the "high end" gecko kind of lost it's luster. Awesomely beautiful though.

Re: Ugly duckling
Really like these pictures. It looks like two different geckos....The color change is amazing, but I like them both. I can't pick which colors look better on her.

Re: Ugly duckling
Have to disagree with you as to her being an 'ugly duckling' as a wee bairn, Red. She was a cutie even then. Her colors now are spectacular though.
