Egg box and incubation idea...

So it just occurred to me that when my female lacerta drops her first clutch of the season I may not be here. Since lacerta eggs are so fragile what do you think of this egg box idea...

I plan on making an egg box out of a Tupperware or something with a hole only large enough for her to fit through (so that my male can't get in) since the eggs have to be incubated at 84 F I was thinking of affixing a heat pad and thermostat set at 84 and fill the box with moist lack earth and spagnum with the hope that she will find the box and lay in it burying the eggs in a humid environment until I can get suspended incubation set up.

What do you guys think?
