My name is Margaret, and my husband and I run a rabbit farm. We sell mostly for human consumption but also have a large customer base for snake food. We raise New Zealand white rabbits for food and sell Newborn right through to 10 lb. rabbits for snake food.
Most of our human consumption rabbits are sold to the US. We also supply local customers and high end restaurants in Alberta with inspected rabbits.
Our other venture is that we grind whole rabbits, bone, meat and organs for dog food.
And lastly we compost our rabbit manure and sell that as well.
There is no better compost than that of a rabbit and the meat of a rabbit is a very healthy meat as well being high in protein and low in fat.
