Question soaking Red Tailed Boa

hi everyone, Ive been looking through this site for a few days now & just signed up. I bought my first baby red tailed boa 2 weeks ago, Ive been doing a lot of reading on them so I can provide the best care for him/her. So far the snake seems to be doing well, eats good ( F/T mice ), has shed once since Ive had her. The snake has been in the water bowl since yesterday afternoon, Ive never seen her soak this long, anyone know why? The temp in the aquarium is fine, shes in a 55 gallon tank, she is about 2 feet long. She has no mites & seems healthy, & has pooped since I bought her. Are they known to soak this long?
