Leaving the head pad on.

How you guys doign.
I just have a quick question.

I have a Banded Cal King.
The weather is really really hot here, and my question is should I leave the head pad on all the time?
Or maybe turn it off during the day when its extremley hot, and turn it back on during the night time?

Thanks in advance.

What is the temp inside the tank without the pad on?, Does it have a gradient? (cooler at one end than the other) What is the ambient room temp?
What is the temp at night?

You do whatever it takes to get the proper gradient in the cage. Whatever that entails, depends on thousands of different things that we can't forsee.

84-86F warm end 78-80F cool end. Doesn't matter how, it just has to be done.
