Something to climb on...

Would it be worth giving my bci something to climb on? would she take advantage of it or is it a waste of time. I tried this with my bp a while back and he never once used it.

im not sure about bci in general but i put a branch thing in the middle of my bci's cage and he never uses it. all mine does is sleep under his rock all day occasionally poking his head out a few inches. hes a great snake though and i really enjoy owning him. i hope to get a mate for him in the near future.

If she is still small then she would be more likely to use it although it is hard to say , I guess it depends on the individual . Ball pythons are not climbers so I am not suprised your ball never used his branch. BCIs in the wild often spend time in the trees . However providing a climbing sorce is not nessicary but she may enjoy. Good luck .

My bci spend most of their digesting time in the hide and after 2 to 3 days i see them on top of their log. id say they will use it 50 % of the time.
