Scary but kinda funny story..
My mom had candels lit on the table, and my cat walked over top of them, and she caught on fire, so we were running everywhere in the house trying to find her, and when we did she was laying there quietly in a basket, unharmed, just singed hair, scary but funny story

Glad she was alright!
I had a male cat once who was really laid back and he jumped up on a table where I was sitting at with a friend and there was a candle there too....Jazpur, the kitty, had realy long hair and he went by the candle and his tail caught on fire and he didn't know it --small flame.......he just turned around and looked at us and we started freakin out!! We put it out and he still was like wazzzz-up?!?!
it was funny. scary, but funny. such a cool cat. as most cats are!

Yeah, that's happened here as well. I had a couple candles burning on top of a small (but tall) table....the cat jumped up there and as he was dashing off, the tip of his tail caught fire.
I never leave candles unattented so that's as far as it could go and the cat was fine. And it must have been funny, because I was laughing.

That is a reason I never let my girlfriend light candles, because 1 day we were playing cards, there was a candle in the middle of the table, she leaned over and the tip of her hair cought fire but she put it out right away, it stunk after though, lol.
