You will get a mixed response on this.
The most common answer will be no you can't. Too much stress, too much chance of aggressive behaviour, and too much breeding. Makes sense to me so that is what I will do should I ever get a female cham.
But if you have a large enough cage, then maybe. I don't know how large though, but big enough for each to have their own territory. A male and female together would be busy getting it on, but I am guessing breeding is your intent anyways. But too much of that will probably harm the female.
I'm sure the more experienced keepers will respond. I am just relaying what I have read here.
