L= LONG T= TERM C= CAPTIVE

LTC = Long Term Captive....

The animal was wild caught but has been in captivity for quite a while...usually free of parasites...etc

Hopes this answers your question!

just remember that it still means import. I have no problems with purchasing imported animals that don't have enough current breeders to supply demand, but buying an imported animal when plenty of captive bred are available. Bringing in new genetics is also a consideration in some cases. But I always advocate buying CBB when possible.
