Rack questions..

When using a rack setup, do you pretty much have to keep species with similiar temp and/or humidity requirements? Or are you able to customize individual tubs/containers in any way?

Basically, the more varied the requirements are of the species on your rack, the more difficult your rack will be to regulate and build. What exactly are you trying to build a rack for? What style of rack?

That's what I figured.

I'm thinking of getting (in the future) one of these racks:

Still deciding on/researching species, but I'm think of some sand boas, rosy boas, maybe a gray-banded kingsnake and a scarlet kingsnake.

I would recommend building one if you have the time and a tiny bit of know-how. You can get it done for 1/4 the price, and to your specs. Just a suggestion.

Country:
It is possible to house species with different requirements, you just need to build your rack so that you can heat each level, or cluster (if you want two different temperature zones, say the first two levels would have an 80's hot spot, and the next two would have 90's), independantly.
The racks you linked to are only suitable for housing species with similar temperature requirements.

For sure. Even if you're not a great carpenter, you must know someone who is and will work for a bottle of Crown Royal.
