Avicularia spp.
Since most of the people generally prefer Avics, I decided to post a few pictures of less common Avicularia spp.
I hope you like them.
The first is A. huriana, my personnal fevourite. Those get pretty big not to say huge by Avic standards.
Their most amazing caracteristic is that they are huge
super-fuzzballs!
Here is a picture of my immature male.
Enjoy
Martin

And now a female A. minatrix.
A very small Avicularis spp. from Venezuela. Very nice reddish colouration on the abdomen. Actually the only avic that keeps it's "tiger" pattern as it grows... a beautiful little gem...
This picture is not the best, but it is the only one I have for the moment.

yes, A. avicularia is a very popular spider. With good reason, very beautiful and easy to care for. I hope to see a pic of yours if you ever have time to post one. Actually, it would be nice if everyone could post their avic pictures here! I will try to take more form my other species.
Martin

Ooh... I LOVE A. Urticans but after seeing these pics, I must say that the A. Minatrix are super gorgeous too. Wow, lucky you to own such gorgeous animals!

Hey Robert, for all those of us just learning to sex T's, that would be the female on the left, and the male on the right? Is that correct?
Nice Pic, thanks much.
