Whew! Never give up!
This is my baby, 'Ice', her first year breeding (darn weak Blizzard breeding genes lol). All duds and of course one stuck (good thing it was the last one). And this is all the yellow she has, no pattern showing even in sunlight, she's a 3yo produced by Zuchowski.
3 days of gentle massaging until the egg was within about 2.5in of her vent, here's the culprit
twice asperated on consecutive days, then 2 more days of massage until it was within 0.5in of her vent, heres her BooBoo lol
2 days later she finally passed it, even shrunk it seems big to her lol

Very pretty girl - and glad she was able to pass all the slugs - with a bit of help. Too bad there are no good eggs as she is very nice,
mary v.

I feel silly having to ask this, but I'm a Boa girl and not really experienced with recognizing Colubrids by simple appearance... What kind of snake is that? (I picked up on the Blizzard part, but I mean is that a king or a milk, etc?)

Nice snake. I'm glad you got all the eggs out. Good work.

thanks for the kind words everyone, I'm real glad she'll survive (surgery was never an option). She is one of the closest to accepted standards I own. Guess I'll move her up to rats, may have to wait 2 years before she'll top 500 grams, but a 5yo is fine for a good surviving litter. Well hopefully the few eggs I got this year will begin pipping this weekend.

Wow, poor gal. I love blizzards, they do seem very weak, don't they? My girl is three+ and still small.
