Hey yall
I'm looking into getting a corn snake, and I don't have any previous snake experience, thus why I am here. I figured talking to other snake owners would help me with learning the best care, or even if that's the best pet for me.
Anyways, I currently have five animals- A service dog, a cat, a hamster, a mouse, and a gerbil (and I work with a young horse at a local barn). I'm also really really bad about talking about myself, so I'm going to end it at that before I embarrass myself.
I hope you all have a good day!

Re: Hey yall
Welcome and best wishes Thorns. I don't keep corns but I do keep other colubrids and they're really fun snakes to keep. The care requirements are pretty easy too. There's lots of great information and people here that should be able to help with most questions you might have.

Re: Hey yall
Welcome! Love the hair!
Corns and other colubrids are pretty easy keepers usually. Their care is pretty straightforward really.
What is it about the corn that draws you in? Will you be able to feed it mice and rats even though you have pet rodents? (Some people have a hard time with this).
It's great to see you doing some research first, so if younjave any questions, just shout out here and someone will have uour back with a trustworthy answer fairly quickly. =)

Re: Hey yall
Welcome to the forum. Corns are a good beginner snake. They are very easy to care for, handle well and usually never have issues with feeding. They don't require a very large enclosure or any out of the ordinary care.
