Help!
Someone please help me! My new baby ball python has an RI and I'm not sure what to do! I tried one home made humidity thing to help him just now but I'm not sure what to do! He is only a few months old and in the middle of a shed right now. He has some bad bubbles and I don't want him to choke and die. His warm spot is about 85 and his cool spot is about 70. I have his humidity high right now since he's shedding but I heard to lower it if he has an RI. I'm not sure if I should take him to the vet or not but I'm very worried and would love it if someone could help me! Thank you so much!

Re: Help!
He is being kept too cold and that's probably what caused the problem. 78-80 cool side 90-92 warm side is a good range. Higher temps and humidity help with R.I. actually... but you need to go to a vet for this problem. In the meanwhile, fix those temps.

Re: Help!
No good with royals personally but just wanted to say don't panic too much but definitely go see a vet... Antibiotics will be needed.
Mistakes happen so just fix those temps and learn from this one, goodluck and let us know how you get on.

Re: Help!
Thank you all so much, he is doing great! The vet said he will be fine if we stay on top of his shots. He ate two small mice yesterday ( he's growing so fast! I need to get him bigger mice!) and we fixed the temperature problem. Again thank you all so much!
