will need a home

yesterday on our local news, they ran a story about an 8 foot retic that was found in a man's back yard. it looks like a beautiful snake and the people that came to get it said it was very docile. they are taking it to m&m rescue in morgantown, w. va. if any of you live around there and have room, may be you could check him out. he looks real nice and they said if it had gotten much colder he wouldn't have made it. check out the news story on kdka.com,pittsburgh pa. or contact the pa game commission for more info. thanks.

Re: will need a home

Yeah I have family up in PA and my grandma tagged me in the story, it's so nice seeing a positive story involving an escaped giant. Not only did they not kill it, they didn't even inflate it's size for sensationalism. I've seen stories claiming clearly 4' boas (they're holding this snake and it can fit comfortably in their hands) as 12' monsters...

Don't get me started on boa horror stories. I somehow stumbled on a whole load of headlines from UK newspapers (I use the term loosely) tales of 10' man eating boas on the prowl making out they would kill you just by looking at you.

I gave up reading them after 10 minutes as I couldn't put up with the nonsense!
