Congrats! These guys are one of my favorite species of the ones I've kept. Nice colors, too, but be prepared for it to change a LOT in the next year or two.
Nice! Welcome to the sparklenoodle club What a lovely little dude!

Still working on a name. He's a hard one to pick for as he's such a baby he hasn't much personality yet. Just kinda cautiously explores and is pretty mellow.
Finally named him. Marco: after the late motorcycle racer Marco Simoncelli. I thought of him when I watched him eat his first mouse pinkie. Simoncelli was a real fighter when racing, and my snake put up an MMA style fight with this pinkie mouse (even though it wasn't resisting at all, lol). Rolling all over the cage and into the water bowl before finally feeling content that he had subdued his prey.
Gotta watch those pinkies, they can be brutal, lol. My snakes don't even kill them, they just swallow them right on down, live or f/t doesn't matter to them.
Thanks! Here's a little clip of his epic battle with the pinkie. Unfortunately the best part was not filmed as I had to run to get my phone when he started his shenanigans. He had rolled around with it several times adjusting his bite and trying to put coils around it before I started filming.
