Is this a good idea?

A month ago I moved my BP to be baby sat at the store I bought him to allow me to stay at my current rental a bit longer while looking for a new place. This was because my landlord was terrified of him and didn't want to come do laundry with him here. It was less stressful to agree then fight her while trying to find a place to move to. Since then the house I'm renting the basement of has since sold and closes early June. I'm moving out at the end of the month. She moved out Friday as I learned which leaves me only in the house. Now it costs me $25 a week to have him taken care of. Would it be a bad thing to move him back home for a month and then move again or would that be to stressful? When I first bought him he ate eagerly after 2 days. I'd rather save the money have be able to see him but I'm weighing that against the stress of 2 moves vs 1.

If you can have him where you're living until you find a new place, I would do it in a minute! You really don't know how they're caring for your snake, not to mention the possible exposure to diseases/mites etc. in a shop that receives new reptiles on a regular basis.

I can have him now because I'm alone in the house. The shop is the same store I bought him from and is acknowledged locally as one of the best reptile stores in the region. So quality of care isn't a concern. The exposure though is valid.

I'd move him back in. As I see it, so long as his actual enclosure is the same before and after the move, it's not as stressful anyway.

It will be the same one and I plan to move him after everything else. Plan is to get the truck, move all the furniture leaving the cage as it is with him in it. Take the truck back then move him and his cage (obviously not in it) in my car to my new place. I'll be moving my cat at the same time. So it will be minimal time between being taken out of his cage and put back in.

Re: Is this a good idea?

Decided to bring him home. Set up his cage now. I'll go get him tomorrow.
