MOREEE ADDITTIONSSS lol
Last ones of the group finally arrived today. This is the most expensive package I have ever / will ever probably receive. Pretty nerve wrecking.
1.1 Nephrurus vertebralis juvies
1.1 Chahoua proven adults

Re: MOREEE ADDITTIONSSS lol
I know practically nothing about geckos, but what I do know is that these guys are impressive!

Re: MOREEE ADDITTIONSSS lol
Nice. There seems to be lots of local breeders out here for the Chahoua's. They look like little leachies.

Re: MOREEE ADDITTIONSSS lol
They are very cool species (the chahoua). The male is very feisty, the female came to me in a very rough shape, so I am working on that atm.
The nephs are hardy and very feisty. They are still juvies though. Probably 3 inches total length, full of attitude lol

Nephs have been very busy digging all kinds of burrows in the sand haha Very fun to watch. Sorry haven't given many updates, been busy lately.

Re: MOREEE ADDITTIONSSS lol
AW! I love Chahouas. My boyfriend keeps telling me that he is going to get me a Nuu Ana Leachianus instead of an engagement ring LOL (and personally I would rather have a Leachie than a ring any day!) :P Gorgeous new babies though! Nephrurus are so cute! I love their little defensive poses.

Re: MOREEE ADDITTIONSSS lol
Nice! Are those nesting burrows or do the geckos "live" in them?
Someone local is selling a baby Chahoua for $50. But it has an over bight.

Re: MOREEE ADDITTIONSSS lol
My female chahoua has a calcium defiency atm. Shes in rough shape, she crashed after laying her last clutch and I'm currently feeding her with an eye dropper. The male is the one pictured above.
@poison, they create burrows and close off the entrances essentially making a sealed 'humid hide'.
Half the cage is wet clumpy sand, the other half is dry. When the female lays from what I've seen, she usually just digs to the bottom of the tub and lays the eggs on the bottom.
