Single Cage LED Proportional Temperature Controller Price: $225 CDN
Temperature can be programmed between 50-120 degrees F. This same technology has been used in the field for years by vets and breeders with great accuracy and dependability. We use these controllers with our own collection. They work great for incubators, heat tape, ceramic heat emitters, heat panels, heat pads, etc. Not made for use on lights, they are digital pulse
proportional (the lights will pulse).
This controller features a bright, 2 digit LED display. Comes standard with a 6' probe (longer probes available for an additional fee) and 6' power cord (we recommend using surge suppressor). They use pulse proportional technology to continuously adjust the temperature with great accuracy. They have a temperature resolution of +/-.5 degrees F. Rated up to 500 watts.
Temperature maintains memory in absence of power. You will never loose your set temperatures, even if the power goes out.
BUILT IN NIGHT-DROP
You can program 2 different temperatures. One for daytime and one for night time to better simulate natural temperature cycles for your reptiles. The sensor is built right into the unit. The photocell is sensitive and the threshold can be programmed for different light intensities.
BUILT IN ALARM
These units also have a very important feature. A built in audio alarm system. It will warn you if your cage is getting to hot or too cold. The temperature range for the alarm can be programmed to go off between 3-15 degrees F from the set control temperature. This built in alarm will alert you both with an audio alarm and visual error code on the display. When an error is detected within your set range an "E" will when an error has been detected. After approximately 15 minutes if the error is not corrected the controller will shut that heat source off and sound an audio alarm.
Longer probes lengths are available for $1.50 per foot; maximum length of probes is 15 feet. Please call or email for proper pricing when ordering controller with longer probes.
