Need Bearded Dragon advice! Taking the plunge!

Ok, so l9ng story short is I am getting a silkie (aka scaleless) bearded dragon this weekend. Please do not make this a topic of debate as I am fully aware of the divided opinions on scaleless reptiles. What I need is someone who knows these animals well so I can take excellent care of the dragon beyond just care sheets.

One main issue with these silkies is shedding. My biggest question on this is that I have been instructed to use luberderm lotion by the place I am getting her, but was curious if coconut oil works as well or what other things work as well or better than just lotion?

Also, any tips, tricks, or beardie secrets that you can throw my way would also be greatly appreciated!
