HOWTO: Get/Change my avatar!?
1> Click on the PROFILE button in the navigation bar.
2> Click on "Edit Options"
3> Scroll down and click on "Change Avatar"
The rest is straight forward.

All the pics I try to down load come back as being to big. How do I check their size or change it?

For the avatar the pic has to be 100x100 or smaller (I think). There is a lot of software that will resize pics for you. If it's a .gif file...you can go to www.gifworks.com and it can resize the pic for you.

what if it's a jpeg file?? i don't know how to edit the photos very well and i don't think the photoshop software i have will resize.

If its jpeg file... just go to Start button.. then click on All Programs.. then click on Accessories.. and open Paint.... ones youre in paint open youre pic.. then choose Image.. and press on Stretch/Skew (Ctrl+W).. and in Stretch change the persentage from 100% to 40% and press ok.. save it some where and then upload it into youre page or where ever.

sadly the custom avatar option was taken away when the site was redone  i would like to see them enable it again.
