Close, Clarion Snakes (
Hypsiglena unaocularis) are a species of Night Snake (
Hypsiglena sp.) endemic to Clarion Island. What you have here should be a Sonoran Night Snake (
Hypsiglena chlorophaea chlorophaea), depending on exactly where in Sinaloa you are. Night Snakes are rear-fanged and mildly venomous, but completely harmless to people. Their venom is very specific to their preferred prey, lizards and snakes. I'm not completely sure of the taxonomic status of this subspecies, I don't have the latest papers on
Hypsiglena, but SSAR lists it as current and they are usually up to date. Check out the range map I linked to confirm. Thanks for sharing, if you have any questions feel free to ask.
