Hello, I would like to purchase become a forum sponsor soon though I wanted to know something. Will my sponsor service include a forum ad, or just a text ad in the box below the ad which says Forum Sponsors? Either way im still willing to do this, is there anything against reptile related forums?

Im not sure how many different ways we need to answer this question.. I believe this is now the second time you have asked this.. We are NOT selling any forum sponserships, photo accounts OR taking any donations at this time..

I don't mean to put you on the spot Matt, but I wouldn't mind a gold cup under my name. Do you know when all this stuff will be going again? Jeff's been gone longer than I've been a member, maybe it's time that someone more available be givin the authority to manage the site.

Y'all are doing a great job though and I don't mean to get anyones panties in a knot by bringing up old issues.

We don't know when we'll be able to take donations again. We know as much as the rest of you, in fact.

We're not hoarding any donation taking powers just for fun, you know

I can honestly say that I don't know when or even IF they will be available again.. Jeff has requested that no one donate or anything, and he did that a while ago, as he didn't need the donations any longer. As soon as we (Mods) hear something, you guys will be the first to know..

How is that rude? It's been made clear multiple times that no money can be sent by members to the site.

Matt isn't being rude or unprofessional in any form. We're asked this a lot, there's a sticky in the general discussion about this, and you yourself have even asked before about supporting the site. Any way to support the site, it's all the same...we can't do anything about it right now.

Hey, it's a GOOD thing when a website doesn't need donations for once is it not? I understand wanting forums or banners, they will come back in time. But for now, yay! It's free!

THe people who have already donated get NOTHING extra but a gold cup gif image, and a photo account. Photo accounts can be had anywhere on the internet, not just at ssnakess.com

I think Paul's point was that some members can have lots of their photos hosted while others, who are willing to support the site, cannot. I have found www.imageshack.us to be a very good host.
