My Brackish tank (lots of pics)

Thought I would post some pics of my other pets. Sorry about the quality. This is my 55 gal which is getting too small. Hopefully this summer I will be building a 225g wooden tank to hold these guys. They are Columbian sharks, Mono A's, Mono S's, Silver Scats, and sailfins. There is also a redclawed crab but he stays hidden most of the time. These are brackish right now at Aprox 1.012 and buy the time I get the other tank up they should be going full marine.

Great pics! I love brackish fish, especially Monos. I'd like to have about 20 of them in a big tank.

Thanks all. Just remember that most of these fish will go marine, so if you plan on getting any plan on going SW. When I first got the sharks I got them for looks, and of course the petstore didnt say they needed brackish water. Then after reading up on them i realise I had gotten more then I bargined for. So instead of stressing them i decided to go brackish and look for other brackish species. Then after more reading I found out they eventually go SW. So again research before you buy, cause for healthy fish and long lifespans you must put them in there environment. The Scats can get the size of a dinner plate, the sharks 18", the monos up to a foot, so large tanks are in order.

Thanks again for the compliments.

Very nice, Moose!
Brackish-water fish certainly are spectacular when properly maintained, as you are doing.
I love those "Scats" and the "Monos" in particular.

Thanks for showing your excellent set up.

Simon
