Hi, first thing to do is double check the temps and humidity incase something is irritating her.. If all that is normal then start to think of anything different that has been happening near the vivarium (loud music, vibrations or a lot of movement etc).. I have an 8 year old female brb myself, I find she can get a bit touchy at night if I try handling her after dark, but I think that's a quirk of her own lmao
Also something to consider, it may have just been a random bite (they are snakes after all, some of mine bite every time)... But if you panicked a bit or put her straight back into the viv you may have unwittingly reinforced the behaviour... In which case, just carry on calmly handling her and she should calm back down..
Pics of the enclosure and snake etc always helps incase anything can be seen that may be upsetting her.
