New Sand boa help Please :)

Hi everyone ! I'm happy to announce after 25 long awaited years I finally got my first snake: a Kenyan Sand Boa! He is about 3-4 months old. When I got him his feeding schedule was every Monday 1 live pinky. Brought him home Saturday and today being Monday we bought a pinky and tried feeding. He just kept hiding his face away from the pinky and wasnt interested. I know a lot of it is due to new environment so not too worried but when should I try again?

Also put the pinky in the freezer to not waste it and my goal is to eventually switch to frozen thawed.

Any new advice is much appreciated! Thanks in advance. 😊

Congrats on your snake! Keep to the normal schedule, don't overtry. If your set-up is good, the animal will eat if not pressured.
