OARA (Ottawa Amphibian and Reptile Association) Meeting
The first meeting of the 2004/5 season of the Ottawa Amphibian and Reptile Society (OARA) will be Tuesday, September 14, 2004, 7:30 p.m.
Wes will be hosting this meeting and invites all club members new and old, and anybody else interested in herping or herp issues, to his house at 4318 Owl Valley Drive in Gloucester (Ottawa South near the airport).
The meeting will cover a short lecture on herp-related sport teams and their logos, and we will finish by sorting out our intentions for the new year.
Driving Directions from the city.
Head south on RIVERSIDE DRIVE from the HUNT CLUB intersection. Drive for 7.4 km through Gloucester Glen, (observing Turtle crossing sign) and turn left onto SPRATT at the McEwan service station. Drive down to the new school on the left, and turn left onto SHORELINE. Take the first right onto OWL VALLEY. I'm the 12th garage door on your left #4318. There is street parking, but there is also room for two in the driveway.
Bus Directions
The bus system does not run to his house so, if you wish a ride please zap me an e-mail (address below) before 4 PM Monday and we'll pick you up the bus stop at the South Keys Shopping Mall. (It's the stop after Greenboro on the Wal-Mart side of the mall).
As always, if you take a bus to the meeting, we will get you a ride home. Be sure to ask for the ride home at the meeting.
