Happy 2005, Saskatchewan's Centenial year.
I am trying to round up the troops, to get HISS numbers up high.
The rat people have been targeted a few times in the last few months. The second time, reptiles were specifically mentioned, as we "support the rat people" and "keep illegal reptiles".
I for one do not like that tone, or the implications involved, and think it is time we get more organized and all become members of the club. There is power in numbers, I'd like to see how many reptile keepers (current, past and future) we can have sign up from the province.
So, with that as the goal, I as president have decided that the 2005 membership dues will be $0.00, taxes included, for all Saskatchewan people who keep reptiles.
I'm posting this here for anyone who may not have gotten an email. If you know of others who'd like to join the group, please encourage them to do so.
