Herping Videos and photos 2019

I've started doing videos of the snakes I find in hopes of educating people. I think education is the key to overcoming fear. I'm a terrible narrator and I'm still trying to get the hang of talking on camera. So, I apologize for the rambling.

I think I may have shared "episode 1" during the fall. But, the rest are from this spring. I'll add some photos tomorrow if I have time.

That's it for now. I usually just photograph snakes, but I threw in a few bonus animals for added interest.

Great photos! Your narration is a little quiet, but actually pretty decent.

Thanks! Yeah, I definitely need to speak louder. I've been filming with my phone, which doesn't help either. I'm hoping to upgrade my ancient DSLR camera soon to one with video and use that instead.

I feel so sorry for the black racer with the injured neck. Maybe it was attacked by a bird or another snake or something. Not sure though.

These are really great, thanks for posting! What are some of your techniques for finding snakes out in the wild?
