Moon Crabs
Does any one know where i can find info, i saw them recently and can't get them out of my mind, theyre very cheap too, about twelve bucks each. The guy in the store was a complete dud, couldnt tell me a thing. Says theyre freshwater....im guessing that theyre probably more like brackish, just sooo cool looking with that stunning red and blue coloration. Ive tried looking on the net, but keep coming up with sites for a V.d. LMAO, any info would be great, s.t.

not sure what it was but i've seen different names for them.
try a general search under maybe pet crabs?
that might help
last time i seen them in a pet store they where in fresh water,
but i would say brackish wouldnt hurt either.
hope this helps.
ps they were like $6.00 down here

Hmm...
I must be thinking of the wrong thing. The last time I saw anything called a 'moon' crab, it was a name applied to a critter also called a halloween crab, which I thought was only semi aquatic.
My kingdom for some latin!

Hmmm...
The ones I'm thinking of were orange with a bit of black. They reached a fair size, as well. Typical crab shape...they didn't live in any kind of shell.
