Re: The Feeding Thread
ah, I misread your earlier post, thought you said it was a blue tree, brain is off for the day. Any particular reason you prefer the blue tails to the blue/green trees?

Re: The Feeding Thread
Temperament. The blue and green are fairly shy species that rarely make appearances. Blue tails (or at least most of them) are fairly bold. They have a reputation of aggressively defending their territory, as well. Max likes to try to bite hubby's face off.

Re: The Feeding Thread
lol, I'm looking for one on the smaller size that has no problem being out but isn't exactly aggressive.

Re: The Feeding Thread
Get ackies.
If you want something more arboreal but still on the bold side, check out the black tree monitor. They can be fairly shy, but they're generally the first to come out of hiding out of the tree monitors.

Re: The Feeding Thread
It had been 14 days since I last fed Kaybe... he refused to eat this past Saturday. Yet he's been running around his enclosure looking hungry. Or maybe this is the first time I see him in breeding mode???? Who knows. He drives me crazy

Re: The Feeding Thread
I'm with you Alessia, Spot our BP has refused his last 3 feeds. I double checked all his temps and humidity and nothing has changed. They will eat when they are ready.

Oh I'm definitely not worried. My temps, humidity, everything is spot on. He's always been a picky eater. Feeding is always on his terms, not mine lol

Re: The Feeding Thread
Everyone loves Pika feeding pics, right?
And yes, I have my very own watermark! All thanks to Kyle (millertime89)!!
Terrrrrible strike (he got the front foot) but he definitely wanted to kill it!! haha (it's f/t)
Finding the head
Yum!
He dragged into the table at one point
Working on it
(Also, the flash totally did something weird to his colors in this one... his colors are actually like the first 4 pics)
Deeeelicious!
(Also, the flash totally did something weird to his colors in this one... his colors are actually like the first 4 pics)
My favorite: finishing up!

Re: The Feeding Thread
That's an awesome water mark. By the way, the last picture is definitely my favorite, too.
