Can you tell I REALLY wanna use this photo?!
It's not too small. It's gonna need to be traced in a program like Illustrator and no, your idea will only make it worse.

Re: Thoughts on logo

I love it with but I just have one more gripe and that is the words need to pop more but subtly.

Yes, forgot to mention this is just progress, not a finished product. The color/shine of the letters is still being worked on. I agree, it does need to "pop" more.....and it will.

Re: Thoughts on logo

Also agreed.

But, what I'd also like to do is use an even darker, almost pure black version of the scales as the background of each page. Pages will be vertically edged in a thin chrome pinstripe, and the toolbar will be chrome, with the words (Home, Collection, Available, Care Sheets, etc.) appearing to have been engraved or scribed into the buttons.

At least that's the plan now.

Thoughts on that?

I'll have to see it but the visualization I got from your description sounds pretty cool.

Re: Thoughts on logo

Updated - I still have a couple touch-up ideas, but I want to first see what you say... that way my thoughts can't influence your feedback!

Re: Thoughts on logo

Next Generations fades in to the back round to much.... When I look at it I see a snake and I see the word Boas...

Re: Thoughts on logo

Agree with Kat, can you "silver up" the next generation bit?

Re: Thoughts on logo

I hope s but I know nothing, really... how it would be done, if there's a code or somethin' to put into the program to control color, or how difficult it is to do.

I asked today if we could try this color scheme instead..

Re: Thoughts on logo

Are the scales prominent enough? Could I use the same transparency of the scales to use as the background for each page without them interfering with reading the text?
Are the letters bright enough?

Now what would you change?
