It's funny how the two snakes in question are the only two I've seen pics of that have a US $20 in them. If he is in the habbit of taking pics with $20 in them why haven't we ever seen a US $20 in any of his other pics.
Before all this happen anyone could look at his pics by copying and pasting the links from the properties section of his pics here on ssnakess into their address bar of their browser. That's where I found all his other pics of the sunglow and the one with the US $20 in particular. Not long after all this started all the pics I had viewed were taken down. I wonder why that is? If they are his snakes why does he care who sees them, why take them down? The only pics left are the ones in his current post. So it would seem to me that not only is he not deffending himself he may also be trying to hide things too.

I don't know the facts, and by the looks of it no one here knows either. I can be a mean ignorrant MF when I want to be, but I don't see any real reason here. Rant away, but really, why?

I guess we will all know if he has the snakes if he gets neonates this summer. I don't know who to beleive. But I made my choice today and if I was wrong all well. Not like I could afford any BCI morphs anyways

I have a feelin that he will stop posting though....I noticed that he mostly replies to comments like in the very beginning of this thread.

I think the main reason why is because people should know who is being dishonest especially in a case such as this where the person likes to make a public spectacle of himself and his animals on a more then daily basics.

Reputation is the corner stone of the herp industry and a reputation is earned by being honest, helpful and having integrity in everything. Posting animals that you don't own or don't have is dishonest and draws into question if a person is being dishonest about what they have in their possession then what else are they or are going to be dishonest about. Especially something that could easily be put to rest as a photograph when we know that Tony loves to take photos.

To me it is very fishy that a person who obviously loves to display "his" animals would be so standoffish and evading when it comes to a picture taken with said animal. It would be another thing completely if the person was unable to take a picture or didn't know how, but this is definitely not the case here. I've read this thread, the thread about the snow boa and the thread on Fauna Classifieds and I have to say that this would definitely deter me from any dealings with Tony.

Are you planning on buying Tony's snakes in the near future? If not then his rep doesn't really matter. What I was saying is "innocent until proven guilty" the burden of proof is/should be on the accuser.

I like the pictures and I hope Tony keeps posting. I for one don't really give a rats asp (thats a snake honest

) if they are his or not. So long as he isn't stealing them and trying to sell them or whatever. TBH Tony is nothing but polite in his posts. Would I like to visit his place and see all these beauties in person?? Damn straight! For now I will keep looking at the purdy pictures.

Who knows, I might or I might not, but as I am starting to try and figure out who are good people to deal with in this industry and who aren’t threads like this are very informative. For me through the threads I have read and the responses from the people involved have allowed me to formulate my own opinion and thoughts on this situation, those being what I stated earlier, so until further information is brought forth I stand by my earlier comments.

This forum is starting to look, and read alot like that other forum we all despise and loathe....I wonder why?

Oh i know...because our Canadian leaders for herps IE. Cranwill have set an example by acting like a two year old and bashing someone whos got a collection that makes him look like a small fry...time to grow up, This is why Canada is 20 years behind the U.S. in the reptile industry.

1. If he has purchased the reptiles from US Breeders, they are now Canadian property... and as far as im concerned he can flaunt his stuff all he wants, regardless of wether or not its sitting in his house...or waiting for Cites permits to go through...they still belong to him, And us as Canadian Herpers...

2. Trevor, Ain't you a school teacher? fine role model you are for the future of our children...

3. Matt K, I know your also a member and have the right to post comments on pictures, and or threads started....however your also a Moderator, wich means while doing so you MUST set an example for the other members to act by, your conduct in this thread and others, aswell as the BOI forum, are below your level, start posting with care mon ami...

4. the only people that look like absolute fools here, are the ones that keep bashing, even though Tony has walked away...are you all blind? he's not posting anymore, give it up, your wasting space for threads that actually are important...

Why would he reply? Why would he stoop to your level? what the hell does he have to prove to you? not a thing...

His Buisness practices are flawless, has not had one person give negative feedback about him or how he conducts buisness, he's there for his clients before, and after purchase, and has been a wealth of information for me,and many others aswell as help me through many herp related problems (and i haven't purchased one thing off of him)

Take a step back guys, look at your own behaviour...and you want to judge, and crucify him for being polite, and not being rude...

one thing comes to mind after reading all of these threads regarding Tony and his collection....

Sorry dude, but Tony's "collection", if he has what he says he does, is actually pretty much on par with mine. You don't know what you're talking about here so I suggest you just stay out of it. Tony can defend himself if he chooses to.

Tell me why it is so obvious to most of the herpers that have been around for a while? How is it they can see what you can't? Maybe because they've seen it before.

Im really not sure what I was thinking when I mentioned that I personally wouldn't bring a snake outside for pictures in January... And heaven forbid I ever make another joke about someone pinching themself again.. Yes, A JOKE, that Im almost 100% sure Tony took it as..

Perhaps I shouldn't have mentioned that I had PM'd Tony about his camera?? Yeah, I really shouldn't have asked him what Kind of camera he was using, you know, it's not like I'm currently shopping around for one..

I don't see Matt doing anything other than setting an example here, and I've never seen him not post with care. He brought certain issues to light, yes, but so would any other member if they had had said information... I find his posts ten times more civil, calm and thought-out than yours.

I see very few people bashing. Infact I see people waiting. If Tony cares about his reputaion, he will be here to post. Otherwise, it seems like he's hiding, and will seem so until he posts. I'm sure that anyone who ends up looking like a 'fool' will be those people who implied that this thread is of no importance and that it's 'okay' for this issue to be ignored.
