The third picture makes it look like he's popping out of the dirt and diving straight back in.

Looking good there Wayne. funny thing about the snake is my adult ornate monitor won't touch snakes or the invasive bullfrogs we have out here.

I was trying to find a pic that shows the lack of muscle tone from not been able to dig in deep substrate, this is the best i could find, you can see a big difference in the upper forearms that are used for the main digging>
