Neither are great photos, but I was looking at how much Loki has grown in the less than six months I've had him. So, I put this comparison together.

I really anticipate and enjoy your posts on Loki. What a majestic animal he is eminart. You're right that's just a snack for that beast. Was that a mouse he devoured? Looks like he could smash a few of those.

He just switched from mice to rat pups. He generally eats one every two days, except around shedding time. He gets finicky then. I've experimented with feeding him two items every three or four days, but he seems to eat best on the one item every two or three day schedule.
