Cheers mate. Thats the way i got into keeping hots, as everytime i saw a pic or seen in the wild they really just caught my eye.
I know what you mean, there arent too many hots or native reptiles in canada, but there are some viper and rattlesnake species that id like to keep one day, but i think gaboons top the list, they just look like something you dont want to pi$s off lol

Here is some pics of my new mulga snake. She is really bright, but the best is yet to come. As she gets older the body should become a brighter red/copper colour and her belly will be an even brighter yellow.
Thanks, i was trying to get her flare and flatting facing the camera but she would not play along. I will have to get some pics of her belly next time she is out.
Here is some new pics of the babies. There is a shot of the mulga's belly there to give you an idea of how bright it is. There is also an update on one of the tigers, it almost looks like there is a white tip on some of the scales.
Here is some pics from the hots room last night. All were extremely well behaved and got a reward for posing for the camera. There is moose ( mulga - pseudechis australia ), col ( collett - pseudechis colletti ), rod ( collett - pseudechis colletti ) and reaper ( barkley death adder - acanthophis antarcticis ) in these photos!!
Yeah i love collett's was shattered when i found out that i had 2 males. Oh well i will have to get 2 females to pair with them now ( sigh ) haha gives me a reason to get more of one of my favourite species!!!
ya they are in a legue of their own! actually i like almost all hots over constrictors, i just dont trust myself with one. 2 bad you got to buy more thats really going to suck eh LOL
Haha nah i just secretly hoped i had males so i could buy more, but please dont tell my partner!!
Hmm im very partial to african rock pythons and green anaconda's myself, but i do love my hot's!!
ya i really like the green anaconda, seen one for sale years ago and was thinking of getting it but i decided not to, now i have never seen another for sale and now the are illegal, missed out big time on that deal, i love the luecy king cobra's thats my fav snake of all time. so hots i would have to say are my fav type of snake. check out this guy, simply amazing, what do cobra sell for in aussie, deathly expensive if you can find one im thinking, with the import export deal? or can you keep them their legally?
