Re: SD Retic Pics
Went in a few mins ago to see if the rats were still there, he poked his nose out, so I dangled them again and he took both, cold. Weirdo.

Re: SD Retic Pics
Very strange, indeed. Gotta wonder what goes through their heads.

Re: SD Retic Pics
Snakes. You gotta love them as much as you worry about them. At least their goofiness is worth some headshakes and a few laughs. Sometimes they just have a weird day for eating, as long as he ate everything's good.

Re: SD Retic Pics
Yeah, I am actually getting a bit worried though, yesterday I went in to spot clean his tub and he still didn't come out, very unusual for him so I'll be getting him it and looking him over pretty soon here. Hoping it's only coincidence that he's being weird after I bring a new snake in. (I am quarantining in a separate room with separate supplies)

Re: SD Retic Pics
Not really sure what to do with this guy...I don't have much time to get him out and work with him like I should, and every time I get him out he does not calm down, shoots for my face, constricts my hands...Ends up being a stressful experience for everyone involved. I really enjoy watching him but I prefer something a bit more hands on.

Re: SD Retic Pics
How old is he now? 1-2 years is about how long it takes most SDs to chill out in my experience.

Re: SD Retic Pics
He's coming up on a year on the 26th. I have a hard time finding the time to really work with him in the first place, I know that doesn't help.

Re: SD Retic Pics
Even 5 minutes per day before you go to sleep is enough. But he should start calming down, that usually starts when they get to a year in age.

Re: SD Retic Pics
He's a cute little trouble-maker! Glad to hear there's some progress.
