Re: What's your favourite snake family?
Hands down , PYTHONIDAE..... the very close second would have to be Colubridae.... pythons bc of the ball python and their consistent manageability and tameness. colubrids for the amazing and incomparable INDIGO snake who is just absolutely breathtaking as a juvenile and amazing as a adult. (unfortunately I couldn't find a pic of the amazing INDIGO SNAKE....

Yes, I had to vote for the colubrids. But, without the Drymarchon genus, I don't think I'd feel the same.
Here's your photo.

Colubrids. Their variety, beauty - even though there are some very large colubrids, on the whole compared to others they have a thinner, smaller profile on the head shape - just personal preference. On the whole I just like the smaller, more streamlined snakes.

Re: What's your favourite snake family?
I voted Boidae - because I love my rainbow boa! I love her puppy face and slender-yet-substantial body. Of course, I love the structural iridescence as well

Re: What's your favourite snake family?
I voted Colubridae. I decided this is my favorite because a couple days ago I photographed a juvenile racer in my yard and I was fascinated by it. I didn't know what it was but the kind members here helped me to identify it. I find myself thinking about him and these are my thoughts: Good luck little fella, hope to run into you again when you are an adult.
