It's shiny. Another common use is glazing over a (alcohol) bar. Then spilled drinks don't ruin it.
I helped a guy glaze over his basement bar with it, and the resin cured with a smooth sheen.
Think "new boat"

Re: Littlefoot & Cera (New video & pictures)
Great update! They're huge! Do you have a guess at the total length?

Re: Littlefoot & Cera (New video & pictures)
I would easily say they topped the 2 foot mark already.
I will measure Littlefoot, since he will let me hold him briefly.

Awesome!!!
Liam is about 26 inches total length, and her growth has slowed significantly. She eats a LOT but isn't gaining 2 to 3 inches a month like before. She's also 21 to 22 months old so perhaps it's because of her age. I can't guarantee she's been gravid before now, and I was thinking about the milestones I've seen with her compared to your two. (after all, we know so few captive boscs) It would be interesting to see if your suspected female cycles around the same age.
Those previous incidents with the "eggs" I found in Liam's water box were nothing like what I'm seeing now with her being gravid for sure. So I'm beginning to wonder if this is her first time cycling.
How old are your two now? (I want to say 9 to 10 months?)

For age, it's easy.. The very first post of this thread went up the day they arrived.

Re: Littlefoot & Cera (New video & pictures)
Then I was spot on with my guess!!! They look like they're only a few weeks old in the beginning.

Re: Littlefoot & Cera (New video & pictures)
yes, they were in the first batch to arrive on US soil from the 2011 breeding season. I had the order placed and paid for a month in advance.
A member of this forum paid for one of them right after Chomper died in January, that was the moment I decided on two lizards.

I think that was a great choice!
My new sav is the same age and only about 16 inches total length!

Re: Littlefoot & Cera (New video & pictures)
I would say that the evidence indicates yes.
There is dried, baked on dirt all over the bulb next to the tree limb.
