I'd agree, but unfortunately if he goes and gets himself bitten, it will add more fuel to the fire burning in the lawmakers to take away all of our snakes. Macrops are considered one of the milder Cryptelytops species, but they still have more than enough venom and potencty to potentially kill someone.

It is not that they are illegal to own in CANADA, they are illegal in most municipalities. Many venemous keepers find out where they are able to keep them and live there.

Yes, it looked like pictures of him hooked up to respirators and IV lines in the hospital. In the very beginning of the video, I just noticed that it mentions a bite. However, the video shows pictures of what appear to be multiple instances, which is what led me to believe he is self-injecting the venom. That, along with his choice of musical accompaniment for the video...
