Been thrown out??? For what?? Cathching guys with their heads down??? Only an Ottawa fan would complain about clean hits.. I guess Havlat's stick to Mark Recchi's jaw ON PURPOSE was clean huh??? I love Ottawa's fans.. How about Alfredsson's hit from behind in Game 5 a couple years back, i guess that was clean too huh???

And yeah, i see Ottawa's coach taking responsability.. 'we have the flu, we we'ren't ourselves'.. Way to own up to sucking.. It amazes me how Ottawa fans put on their blinders when it comes to dirty plays.. I guess the elbow to Domi's jaw last game was clean too huh???

Yeah .. Domi deserves it and more. Alfies hit was the much cleaner than most of Toronto's hits. Havlats hit was unjust, but if it happened to a Toronto guy it would be great. Martin took 100% responsibility for the game 6-0, and as for the flu, let's see your team win with 4 people on the bench. I mean, you arent even have reasonable arguements again what is being said.
Marchmant is suck a dirty hockey player ... i mean I am surprised he isnt getting called for charging all the time.
And you wanna talk about hit, Domi, with 5 seconds left, punching van Allen in the face when he was recovering from jaw surgery. Or how about tucker jumping into the Ottawa bench, or Domi punching Adverson from behind in the same game.

And matt, never seen anyone so passionate about a crappy team (LMAO LOL)

A crappy team.. Hmmm, more points then Ottawa.. ANYWAY.. Marchments takes 2 steps into his hits, that's CLEAN.. Havlat got 2 games for trying to take off Rechhi's head.. Fair?? Alfredsson's hit on Tucker was 3 feet from the boards and from behind (way to teach the kids).. The flu.. Apparently you didnt notice that Toronto not only was missing 5 regulars, but Nolan and two others were ALSO battling the flu.. Domi punching Van Allen, he speared Domi earlier in the game.. Tucker jumping into the bench, i would too if somene spit at me while i was skating by..

Do you have anymore excuses for your poor excuse for a hockey team???

I'm just sad that they had to play each other...I'd like it better if they both got knocked out in the first round....

Country:
holy, aren't there any former Nordiques fans around?

and we all know that Bertuzzi's "thing" was dirtier than any hits between the leafs and the sens

Ah, the NHL playoffs. Time for hockey fans across the country to get their blinders on full force (yes, that includes TO fans, too).
Here's what mine says:
No team in the NHL, NFL, NBA and even the the MLB can match the Canucks awsome speed, goal scoring prowess, defensive responsibility, and all around gutsiness. We will see incredible resolve from a team that has gone through an unbeleivable amount of turmoil this season, only to top it off with an inspiring fight to take over the top spot in their division in the last game of the regular season. The presence, even the mere thought of Big Bert in the lockerroom will be all that the Canucks need to take it all the way this year. The only picture I can see in my head is of Trevor Linden hoisting the Stanley Cup over his head, only to have the top of the trophy fall off. Haaaa Haaaa!!!
Good Luck to all the Canadian teams. Except for Calgary of course.
My prediction: Oil in seven! Oops.

Lonely Canucks fan in Montreal.

Couver definatly has a good chance in the west.. Their speed?? Easily matched by.... Nashville.. yeah, i said it.. Anyway, they have a good chance, but they'll only go as far as Cloutier will take them.. Unfortunatly, im not sure that's very far.. I am however hoping for Couver and Calgary to come out of the west..

Ahem,

(puts on trusty blinders)

Cloutier is as good a goalie as any out there. This is his year to prove that he has what it takes to lead the Canucks to glory. The canucks have reached the finals every decade the last twenty years give a take a few years. This is the year that Dan Cloutier will be compared to then surpass King Richard Brodeur and Captain Kirk McLean....I can see it already. Its so Beautiful...I'm going to cry...Haaa Haaa!

Ottawa in Seven, yeah I said it!!!!

Yeah, I was really hoping for the Oilers to get in...

Eastern Conference

Tampa Bay vs. Long Island = Lightning in 5
Boston vs. Montreal = Montreal in 7
Philly vs. New Jersey = Philly in 6
Toronto vs. Ottawa = Ottawa in 7 (leafs fully of old timers)

Western Conference

Detroit vs. Nashville = Nashville in 5
San Jose vs. St. Louis = San Jose in 4
Vancouver vs. Calgary = Vancouver in 6
Colorado vs. Dallas = Dallas in 4

I definitely agree with Naslunds wrister. I dont know about Cloutier.....
Toronto will take the ottawa series if Eddys back holds out and I think Renberg should play on the fourth line or not at all. Antropov and Ponikarovsky are going to have to pick up the physical slack left by Nolan and Tucker. Too bad we didn't have a third line of Tucker Ronny and Nolan would have been awesome.
