some horror flicks are funny as hell....like the Evil Dead's...very fun but not very scary....stuff like Castle Freak, the Unnameable, 13 Ghosts and the Ring really give me a scare. When I was a kid the Thing was my thing..lol...it scared me senseless but I loved it...I saw an action figure of the Thing at a video store a while back and I'm still kicking myself for not getting it..

Ooh! I agree with Yve. The Evil Dead series were GREAT! The first one was kinda scary, but the third one was absolutely hilarious. I will forever more be a Bruce Campbell fan...

I'm suprised at how many evil dead fans there are as well.
Army of Darkness for sure the best of the three.
So many classic lines.
I read somewhere they wanted to do a Freddy vs Jason vs Army of Darkness(or Ash I'm not sure)
I dont know if there was any truth to it though

Horrors/Thrillers have me on edge when I watch them, hurts katey's arm the way I jump and squeeze.
My all time favourite is Event Horizon... I didn't know which way was up.
Resident Evil really freaked me out, gave me a real sick feeling in my stomach, I didn't even finish the movie.

Dawn of the Dead....... The original from the 70's........ I am a huge George A Romero fan........ Zombie flicks are the best........ I cant wait to see the remake of Dawn of the Dead........I also know Tom Savini....... He is the one that does the makeup in the Romero films........

Wow, you know Tom Savini?! Is he a nice guy in person?
I'm with you. Zombie movies are the best. I think i've seen them all.
Well, not really. I still have yet to see "Zombie nation", do you think it's good?

Aaahhh horror......my favorite genre. Let me see, where to start?
First of all, my all time favorite: The Exorcist
Then the following:
Top 5 old school
The Haunting
Carrie
Nosferatu The Vampire (1979 Remake directed by Werner Herzog)
The Texas Chainsaw Massacre
Black Sunday
Top 5 that came after
Hellraiser (1-3)
IT
The Fly (1986 remake)
Aliens
The Evil Dead (all 3 of them)
And many many others...awesome topic by the way.
