If I had my choice of putting a dead snake on my car engine and crawling inside a dead one you better believe that dead snake would be on my car engine. You forget that the computer is a very good tool. Pictures can be altered and doctored to look like anything. I do not even think this snake was ever on the engine. Someone computer imposed it. There is a picture floating around of this that actually shows the hood up. If this snake had gotten caught in the fan belt blood would have been sent much further and that snake would by no means have stayed inside the engine compartment.

That photo you use as an example of yes someone would is totally different. In that situation there was no car engine covered in blood and guts which would take hours of detailing and cleaning. Why would someone almost ruin the engine filth wise for those photos? That would be stupid.

Marisa, I am totally losing respect for your sense of reason. There was no blood all over the engine. Clean up from those pics would take less then 5 minutes.

<snort> Oh the irony.
A closer look would reveal a few blood splatters on the engine and what looks like gristle on various parts.

Everyone knows these were staged and can’t understand why a few of you are on a tirade trying to convince people other wise. Ummm, unless you staged them???? Katt, Marisa, have you imported any balls lately? =)

It could be Staged I couldnt prove it either way. You people would be amazed at how snakes can get into cars though I highly Doubt it would move towards the loud Vibrating hot block of metal though. it would Probley find a Lip on the bumper or squeese into a spot above the wheel well. unless of course this happened in the person's driveway things like this happen A Cat Crawled into my uncles Truck and had her babys near the fan He hopped in his truck to head to work And WAP WAP WAP.... take a Wild guess what happened....

that pic is stages but not for the reasons people stated. Anyone ever had a belt snap on a car? it would have enough force to "cut" a snake like that this is cut (it dented the hood of my car, and cut the insulation), however the belt would still be clearly visable in the the pic, had it snapped. To me it looks like the took the belt out, to stage the pic.

I expect more from people who claim to be reptile enthusiasts. These pics circulated the internet well before Lilly put them up here. When they went around our office everyone sent them to Joe, Barry, and I. We probably got them about 15 times. We didn’t take the time to explain to the general population why they were fakes, its just a waste of time. I would have never thought I would have to explain to so called snake people. Not only having to point out they are fakes, but having some of them try to debate the obvious fact is ridiculous. I want to see this type of hype stopped, but if the pranksters can so easy fool the herp community, then imagine the fun they are having with the general population. I don’t suppose the end is in sight. How many have seen the one about what the FL eclectic company found? That one showed a huge gater that was captured in TX and I drain pipe with about 50 WESTERN diamondbacks in it. Of course, everyone here had to show me. It wasn’t worth the time to explain there are no WDB anywhere near FL. How about the one where the big American croc ate the guy off of the golf course in FL. No one seemed to care it was a salt water croc in the pic. These are all so ridiculous. Sorry Marisa, I guess I expected more from you. Keep the crap circulating!

That snake looks pretty good to me as well for being stuck like that. Its head was intact, think about it. What snake is going in from behind? It most likely entered from underneath the car, I highly doubt the snake would have gone through far enough not to be pulled back and not have its entire body and head chewed up. use some common sense here! its a hoax. I think some people like to look at worst case scenarios to complain about someone elses neglect.. Or make up someone elses neglect in some of these photo hoax cases..

... Are you sure that's even a ball python? I don't know much about balls, but it looks kind of like a bigger snake. No offence to anyone, I don't know much about them, so don't get mad. But it almost looks like just one big snake. Where the tail tapers.. isnt that where half of it is wrapped around the fan? I thought it was a real pic at first, now with all this debate i'm not really sure...
